Terms of service

These terms cover your use of TempusLog (tempuslog.com), a time tracking app made by mile.dev. By creating an account or using TempusLog, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.

The service

TempusLog is free to use. We may add paid features later; if we do, we will say so clearly before anything costs money, and what is free today won't start charging you without your agreement. We may change, improve or remove features over time.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Tell us at contact@mile.dev if you think someone else has access to your account.

Workspaces and teams

The person who creates a workspace is its owner and decides who joins and what they can see. If you invite people, make sure you are allowed to process their data (for example, as their employer). Owners and admins can see the time logged in their workspace.

Your data

Everything you put into TempusLog stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. You can export your time as CSV or PDF from Reports at any time.

Fair use

Don't use TempusLog to:

• break the law or anyone else's rights;
• send spam, for example through invites;
• try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or test our security without permission;
• overload the service or scrape it with automated tools.

We may suspend or close accounts that do, and will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.

Ending

You can stop using TempusLog at any time and delete your account in Settings. If we ever shut TempusLog down, we will give at least 60 days' notice so you can export your data.

No warranty

We work hard to keep TempusLog reliable and your data safe, with daily backups. But it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Keep your own exports of anything you can't afford to lose.

Liability

As far as the law allows, mile.dev is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, from using TempusLog. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Using TempusLog after that means you accept the new terms.
