Import from Clockify

Bring projects, clients, tasks, tags, people and every time entry over in a few minutes. Only the workspace owner and admins can run an import.

Option 1: with an API key

Recommended. It brings everything, including people and their time, and runs in the background.

In Clockify, open Profile settings, then Advanced, and generate an API key.
In TempusLog, open Settings, find Import from Clockify, choose With API key, paste the key and press Check.
Check the preview: the Clockify workspace, how many projects, clients, tags and people we found, and who isn't on your team yet.
Optional: pick Entries from to import only recent time. Leave it empty to import everything.
Press Start import. You can leave the page; we email you when it is done.

No API key? Export a report from Clockify and upload it.

In Clockify, open Reports, then Detailed, pick the date range, and choose Export, Save as CSV.
In TempusLog, open Settings, Import from Clockify, and choose From CSV file.
Pick the file. Leave the date format on Detect unless the dates come out wrong. Files up to 25 MB; export a shorter range if yours is bigger.
Press Import file.

Safe to run again. Running an import a second time adds only what is new. Nothing gets duplicated.
Nobody gets an email. People from Clockify are added to your team without an invite. Their time shows up right away, and you invite them from Team when you are ready.
People who left are imported as inactive, so old reports still add up.
Your key stays safe. We only read from Clockify. The key is stored encrypted and deleted when the import ends.
Rates are saved for later, for the paid Company plan with billable rates.
