TempusLog is made by mile.dev, a software studio. We build web apps, APIs and products for clients, and we track every hour of it.
Why we made it
We wanted a time tracker that the whole team actually likes to open: fast to start a timer, easy to fix a day afterwards, and reports that answer the questions clients ask. The tools we used kept moving the basics behind per user plans, so we built our own.
The name comes from tempus, Latin for time. The sand colored tick in the logo is the sands of time, and it only ever marks time in the app.
Why it is free
We use TempusLog every day, and it shows the kind of work we do. Running it costs little. Later we will add an optional paid plan for companies that need more, like billable rates, approvals and SSO. Everything that is free today stays free. See pricing.
